Gary is Mount Pleasant's longest running City Council Member. He loves serving his HOME TOWN.
Gary is a Mount Pleasant native, and was first elected to serve on the Town Council in 1996.
WHY VOTE FOR GARY?
- Council Member Santos holds a degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Leadership Development from Trident Technical College. He is a board member and vice president of the Charleston Port & Seafarers Society.

- Honored to be the 2005 Recreation Advocate of the Year by the Charleston Metro Sports Council;

Councilman Gary Santos worked closely with many different agencies beginning with SCDOT, as their letter to Santos clearly stated. Our iconic Waterfront Park below the Ravenel Bridge is an example of his love for Mount Pleasant.
